What is the Opacity of those objects when you select them? You may have to get inside groups to be able to select individual objects (Double click the group, or Ctrl + click). Once you select an object (look to the Statusbar, it will tell you what is selected) look in the bottom left corner to see what the Opacity is set to. If it's set to less than 100 make sure to change it. Repeat for all objects, or select more than one object and change Opacity to 100 all at once.
