Inkscape 0.47 has a DXF save as/export option. Works with AutoCAD 2010.

.dxf does not appear in the drop down list in my "save as". the version i am using is 0.47. am i doing something wrong? you might have a plugin that i have not installed or something?

It's called "Desktop Cutting Plotter (dxf)" in the Save As drop down.
