I want to change the default units of measurement to mm in my OS - Ubuntu 14.04. However the 'save as' menu does not contain a template option, and when I do a search of my computer apparantly there is no Defualt.svg file. I also turned on hidden folders and I can not see an ~/.Inkscape/ folder anywhere.
can someone explain please
Where is the SVG Template stored
Re: Where is the SVG Template stored
Even 'buntu follows the conventions.
Set up a page & save as default.svg to your home directory ~/.config/inkscape/templates

Thanks Rich
Wonder why the search for "Inkscape" didn't find that folder? Anyway, problem solved I am very grateful.
