Why am I losing objects after saving
Why am I losing objects after saving
So after I save my file in inkscape as a pdf, then open it in illustrator it looses parts of the project. Can anyone explain what is happening?
Even when I just open using a pdf reader like acrobat it opens up fine.

After opening in illustrator.

Hi. Long time no see.
Illustrator should be capable of opening svg-s. Maybe filters are not represented right, but it doesn't seem you use any of them.
My guess would be that you need switching from masking objects to clipping them if working with pdf-s.
