Silhouette, Swirl & Wings Tutorial

I did a new Inkscape tutorial last night, I hope you guys like it. Its about creating a silhouette, swirls and angel wings to make an illustration.

Nice tutorial. Just so you know in inkscape .46 you will be able to create your swirls just as in this thread. You can try it out with a current development version.

You will have more control over swirls. In addition when you want to edit the swirl as you did in this step you just convert the object to a path.
