Using Grids

Postby chocwrap » Fri Apr 03, 2015 12:43 am

I've just discovered potentially how useful grids are

I understand that if you select an image and click on the Hastag on your keyboard then the grids appear.

However for me the grids appear everywhere apart from on the image itself. So I'm obviously missing something. Here's the file of what I mean..

What do I need to do to get the grids to lie on top of the blue image?

Many thanks,

Caroline

Hi

The grid IS on top - problem is you don't see it as your rectangle is the same color.
You can change the grid color in document properties ( Shift Ctrl D ) - use the Grid tab and change the major Grid Color, an alternative is to use a different fill color for your rectangle.
Good Luck!

You can also change to outlines only display mode (Ctrl+5 on the numpad a few times).
