EPS Doesn't Open In Acrobat Reader

Hello,

I am having a problem where EPS files created in Inkscape are not able to opened in any other software.ie Acrobat Reader. It gives an error message that the files are corrupt. Anybody know why that could be happening?

Does the file originate in Illustrator?
Can you upload the file?
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

As far as I know, AcrobatReader is not made for reading EPS. At least my AcrobatReader XI on Win7 is also not capable of opening EPS.
Have you tried GSView instead?

If GSView cannot read it then there might be someting wrong with your EPS.
