Hi dear Inkscape team.
There is a "behavior" in the scrollbars at the bottom of the screen/canvas (see image attached).
It would be nice if the scrollbars were fixed or unobstrusive since "on mouse over" is very anoying to pick a color.
I'm using Inkscape 0.91, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Thanks a lot and have a nice day.
Horizontal scrollbars obstrusive
Re: Horizontal scrollbars obstrusive
Hide them until you need them. In any case middle mouse will drag your canvas so you never really need the scrollbars .. Ctrl-shift-R I think is default shortcut, but look in the menu to be sure.
Your mind is what you think it is.
Re: Horizontal scrollbars obstrusive
I think this may be related to Unity overlay scrollbars.
Here are suggestions about how to remove those unwieldy things:

Re: Horizontal scrollbars obstrusive
Thank you very much both druban and Moini for your quick responses.
I'll hide the scrollbars for now and then look Moini's suggestion.
Peace!
