I am new here, so I hope i won´t ask too stupid questions. Anyway, we are switching from .png icons to .svg icons and our archieve is with fla and ai icon files. Therefore I would need to transfer .ai files to .svg files. I used Illustrator CS3 and all of the light turned black... like on the right on the picture

could you post a file somewhere, it's hard to tell without an example.

There are two ways you can get from AI to SVG. The first is to simply open the AI's in Illustrator and save as SVG. The second is to open the AI's in Illustrator, save as PDF, then open the PDF in Inkscape and save as SVG. Neither option is flawless.

It seems t5he problem is with grouping. When you ungroup the file ( or InkSpace does it ) transperancy turns in B/W... I shall put the file in a server...
