how do you resize the inkscape cavas?

how do you resize the inkscape cavas?

I found somthing saying you had to use doument proporites but I dont understand how to do that....

Welcome to the forum :D

File menu > Document Properties > Page tab > Page Size. You can either choose a preset size from the upper area, or set your own custom size in Custom Size area.
