Hi all. I'm getting into inkscape and think it's great. I have a background in AutoCAD and Geographic Information Systems. I hope to use inkscape as an alternative to Adobe stuff and get my feet into the 3D world.
Love the artistry on some of the pages!

Re: Noob and Art
Me too I have a background in AutoCAD Made technical drawings during about three years (in 2D).
I love Inkscape, as with all programs you just need to get used to its "personality", but after that, it's really great. I consider it one of the shining examples of mature, really top functional open source programming. Nice people also involved
There's not really a direct link between Inkscape and 3D of course, but you probably realize that? And you probably have heard about Blender?
