Well, I was going to post a tutorial on this, but I finished before I got the idea. Since I need to get off of the PC soon, I'll just post these SVG's of the FINISHED work. If you want to use them, please do. They are not mine(completely), they are based off of this Fireworks tutorial. I just translated it into Inkscape. I have a talent for redoing people's work, but I can never completely think of a technique by myself. .

Directions for personal use:

• Delete all of my text.
• Ungroup the button of your choice
• Select the Text
• Place your own text
