I've recently created presentations using both Sozi and Prezi, and just wrote up a quick comparison on my blog. I've also shared my Sozi presentation on Open Source Software, for anyone who'd like to see / use / extend it.

Prezi Vs InkScape's Sozi plugin
Re: Prezi Vs InkScape's Sozi plugin
Some maybe interested by impress.js too. It can do (limited) 3d.
I'm not sure for you section title on the stroke :too much rotation for me.

Re: Prezi Vs InkScape's Sozi plugin
impress.js is AWESOME. I'll definitely take a closer look. It would be great to connect that to a javascript library that provides some good tools for manipulating SVG, Like Raphael for example. http://raphaeljs.com/
Re: Prezi Vs InkScape's Sozi plugin
I love Impress, but the thing I love most about Sozi is that I can create my entire presentation as
an inkscape image, Drawing out all the elements for it on a single page.....then
define and apply the transitions. Editing and managing a presentation is much easier for me when
I can see the whole thing at once.
Thanks for posting a link to your article. I enjoyed reading it, and seeing your presentation.
