I'm trying to find an old topic, probably in the Show It Off section. I think there was a link in it to a tutorial that I wanted to try. But I can't find the topic.
It displays a really well-done portrait, photorealistic, of a man, who might have been wearing a tie, but I think it was just the face. The artist had used a particular technique for blending facial tones and shadows, maybe something like color interpolation, but instead of 2 reference points/colors, there were 4. It was something like a transform matrix only with color, but darned if I can't remember what it's called. And can't find the topic.
I'm hoping some of you long-time members might remember this?
