A few drawings

Postby Quebecman » Fri Aug 06, 2010 1:01 pm

I finally have a good handle on coloring with Inkscape. I draw and ink by hand, scan, then using Inkscape, convert to vector and add color.
The transparency, blur and gradient effects, combined or not, make for a great result.

A great tool. I'm especially impressed at how light (in terms of megabytes) and sophisticated the software is in comparison to Illustrator and the likes.

Off topic:
It appears DA no longer reveals the image number in the URL. To display the images, get the number from the thumb field on the deviantart page. It'll look like :thumb12345678: where 12345678 is the number you need.
