I was referred to Inkscape for a simple project and wondering if I can do this on Inkscape. Reading the website introduction to Inkscape leaves me in the dust, the terminology is waay beyond anything I understand.
My project;
Putting fonts into a perfect circle and setting both the diameter of the circle and size of font. I then need to print out the results on paper and transfer to a sign project for hand carving. Can this be done on Inkscape?
Thank you for your response.

Re: needing to print fonts in a perfect circle

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
Yes, Inkscape can do that. But it sounds like you'll need to be prepared to learn some new skills. Please see the info in my forum signature for some excellent instructional material. When you get to the manual, you'll specifically want to learn about the Ellipse tool and Text tool. Also look into Text on Path (found in info on Text tool). If you get stuck, after you start the project, please feel free to ask for help. But we do prefer that you give it a try on your own first. Inkscape is not hard to learn, at all, fortunately
