Unset Stroke colour in V 0.92.1

Postby Raspi » Sat Feb 18, 2017 10:41 pm

Can anybody confirm ?

When i set the Stroke colour of an oject to Unset, the Stroke disappears instead of becoming black.

Is this a bug ?

This is not a bug - this is how the SVG specification defines it (a undefined fill is rendered solid black [*], a undefined stroke is the same as 'None' [*]).

... and this did not change in Inkscape 0.92.1, it was always this way.

Then my memory must have failed me. Thanks for clarifying !

However this is weird behaviour.
Coming from this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31821

Im trying to clone an arc in a circle.
I set up the arc to have a Stroke Width of 2mm.
When i Unset the Strokecolour, it disappears and has not Strokewidth.

I can clone it though and the colour is also affected, but the Width is set to 1mm.

When i convert the Strokewidth back to a defined colour, the Strokewidth is still 1mm.

Does this mean i can never change the Width of a Stroke with Unset colour ??
