Color flooding of photo using Inkscape
Good day. I am new to Inkscape Forum and looking for some assistance with a predicament I'm in. I am wanting to take a PNG photo and convert it entirely into a gold background with the grey/black pushing through from original. See attachment as end result. I remember you need to make a duplicate, layer it below and desaturate the copy to allow to change the Baer color but that's all I remember. Can someone please give me the correct procedure to finish the job.

Welcome aboard!
Your attachment doesn't appear, you may attach it once again.
If you just need the image as a png format, maybe you better use a raster editor for that, like gimp or photoshop in my humble opinion.
Then applying a gradient map could turn the photograph to any shades.
