You're right I'm getting the same result. Now we have to figure out why it happens.

I have no explanation to what causes this, seems that that shape id and color has been mixed up at export or something.
If you duplicate the shape, the dupe will show as black, delete your original and use the dupe is one way out.
(maybe you need to right click this image and show it separately to see the whole pic)
Here's when it gets really weird... if you just change the color of that outline shape to lets say blue, it will show as blue in the PDF.
And if you change it back to black it turns up as red again in PDF
But if you change the black as below picture to HSL and set L to 1 instead of 0 it will turn up as black in the PDF
