Hi,

I’m offering an internship position for a project focused on Inkscape.

The internship will last 3 months full time, but can also be split in smaller part-time chucks. The workplace is a coworking space in the center of Bordeaux.

People applying must have the following skills :

1) Show a good knowledge of Inkscape interface and workflow
2) Speak one of the following languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese

- The main tasks will be creating flat designs, assets and isometric blocks using Inkscape.
- The laptop is not provided, so people should bring their own laptop and work with it,

The total amount paid for the 3 months is around 1600€ net, which is the standard salary for internships here in France.

If you are interested in the position, please send your resume and any kind of support showing your Inkscape skills (portfolio, website) to the following address: [email protected]

No motivation letter required.

If you are very interested in this position and very skilled, but you cannot relocate, we can consider the option of collaborating remotely, but conditions should be discussed case by case.

Livio

(If you didn't already) you might want to post this to the Inkscape User mailing list:  https://inkscape.org/community/mailing-lists/

Or else if you don't want to subscribe, I could post a message with a link to this message.

I'm not qualified, but I'm curious about something.  What is the internship for?  Graphic design?  UX design?  Or just Inkscape?

Hi Brynn,

I didn't post the offer to the mailing list because actually, I didn't want to subscribe only for this message. So, please, if you can do it for me by linking this post it would be awesome :)

The internship is about creating a small library of vectors and templates with a cohesive style that can be used for future client commissions in my illustration/graphic design business. Also, I'm thinking about selling some items online and donate the gathered money to Inkscape as Blender Market currently does for Blender.

Hi.
I'm way overqualified for an internship, however if 1600 Euros is the budget for the project (the project being a bunch of Inkscape assets), then it's possible I can provide that service.
My website is crogersmedia.com, and I've been making graphics and assets with Inkscape for about 8 years now, everything from web and ux designs to commercial packaging, posters, and other print media.

Let me know what the scope of your project is, and maybe we can work something out within your budget.

Attached is a png preview of some of the stickers I've made for the Inkscape Project over the last few years (originals are all vector in Inkscape).
