Welcome to the forum!
I hate to use this info to answer this question, because I've only heard 1 report....and none to the contrary. But I did hear from someone who had bought a Dell XPS, high def, high res, and all that. But the Inkscape display was so awful, they returned it. And that was from someone who is involved in Inkscape development. I'm not sure if he technically is a developer, but is someone who I would not doubt about their report.
However, having said that, a new version of Inkscape is coming in probably the next few months. Maybe it has something that can help? You could get 0.92pre2(beta) already. But I wouldn't know what to suggest specifically.
Unfortunately, Inkscape developers don't participate on forums very much (I don't know why). You can reach them most easily via IRC, on either the users' channel or devs' channel:
https://inkscape.org/en/community/discussion/. It's kind of hit and miss on IRC, so if you want your question to reach All developers, use the developer mailing list
https://inkscape.org/en/community/mailing-lists/I'll be interested to hear what you learn. If you have a chance, could you come back and post what you learn? (If you use the mailing list, I'll see it. But I'm not on IRC very much.)
