How can we go about clearing a layer's matrix while keeping its objects in place ?

I'd use something like this:

I thought that was what you wanted - a hint on how to remove transforms. Else, you could just add them from the layer to the objects in it... maybe?

Or, even easier: Create a new layer or file, and copy-paste the contents there.
