We've seen several reports of a false positive on Inkscape, by a security program called 360 Total Security. Apparently still not fixed, months after first discovered. (Although to be fair, we don't really know if anyone has reported this to 350 TS. I was thinking of reporting it to them, until someone told us that's the antivirus which is forced upon the vast majority of people using Windows systems in China.)
So I decided to keep hands off, and instead suggest users find a better antivirus or security suite.
Here's our test from that first report, showing that Inkscape.org is a clean download site:

Or if you downloaded from somewhere besides the Inkscape website, I would suggest to delete what you downloaded, run all your security scans to get rid of any bad stuff, and then download a clean copy from inkscape.org.
