I'm mulling over how to do this easily a obejeto within another, keeping the same properties, but of course smaller, like the theme of Russian dolls.

Imagine these imagene, make a doll and within that there is an equal but smaller and in turn within that another and within this one more, so until we want.

This button climb, but it is how well they can try a obalado circle and you will see as moves more distance in the orizontal line in the vertical.

Does anyone know of an easy way?

I hope I explained.

Hi lobopk2,
I don't understand clearly what you want to do.  But maybe you are looking for Path Offsets (http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Paths-Editing.html#Paths-Offsets)

Could you find an image to show what you want, or maybe try to explain more?

I'll work on making some examples in an SVG file, and attach it when I'm finished.

Edit
maybe something like this attached stock image from 123RF?

Here's SVG with some examples of nested objects.  I'm still not sure exactly what you want to do, but maybe this will give you some ideas (attached).

speak Spanish and use google translator, so maybe it is not well understood, but brynn're right.

In your objects.svg Enlaze nested, it is clear what I want to do exactly that.

Do not quite understand what it says under the picture, but that xml editor seems to have to write some code, which cost me a lot, I can not believe I have something automatic inkscape to do that, sure there is, but not find it.

What I was doing was duplicating the object, then increased the fatter line and to double descombinaba the way and erased the path outside leaving the inside, but it is time consuming and sometimes confusing.

image capture is what I do, it can be any shape, but I see a fijate captura2 image detail, what happens when we get there that also want to continue to close that gap?

Also you can do or not is up and could not because you can close more?

Friend thank you very much for your reply and your time brynn

Yes, Google translate is tricky.  It translates all the words and phrases, but then displays them all mixed around, so it's hard to understand.  Sometimes I use Bing translate, and get a better result. http://www.bing.com/translator/  But not always.

I think the Inkscape manual is available in Spanish.  This might be the right link:  http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html_es/index.html  Number 7 is the chapter on paths.  Look for "Comandos para Desplazamientos de Trazos".

I don't understand your last message very well.  But hopefully having the manual in Spanish will help you.  I think you might be referring to a process known as node editing.  That will be in "Uso de la Herramienta Nodo" section.

Do you know about the status bar in Inkscape?  It is an excellent tool for learning.  Be sure to look at it, at every step, and it can help you along.  The information changes, depending on which tool you're using and what you're doing with the tool.  The status bar is in the pink rectangle in the attached screenshot - statusbar.png.

If it's not in spanish, you can change that in Inkscape Preferences -- see the blue and red circles in attached screenshot - inksprefs.png  (sorry for poor quality of attachment)

brynn thank you for your fast response and your efforts to help despite the language barrier is something of value.
Look, what I've said because I think that if I have a manual credit if I can find it, in the background is exactly what you said in your example, I did not know well explain what my second example, hare tests to see if I get well and try to make images more clear

A greeting from Spain brynn ;)

posd: I am using http://www.bing.com/translator/ to see if well be understood better :)

It's quick and easy, you've been very helpful, but it's easy when you know it is very difficult when you do not know where to look, thanks for the info from the book that you gave me, it seems very interesting, em read it too :)

 :bow1:  de nada   :-D

Bing translator is a little better.  But still very hard to understand.  I try to remember that it's probably as hard for you to understand me, as for me to understand you.

I don't know if this will help, but there are Inkscape forums in Italian, French, German, and Russian, if you speak any of those languages.  On this page:  http://inkscape.org/en/learn/

From Bing:

From google:
