Hi!

I would like to export to PNG and keep the page/canevas border. I see it in Inkscape but each time I export to PNG it disappears.

Is there a way to keep this border when exporting?

Thanks!

You can create border with rectangle with no fill and stroke paint. Use align tool to center with your path.

Welcome to the forum!

Instead of using Align and Distribute dialog, I usually enable snapping to page, and draw a rectangle which matches the page border.  Either way works just as well.  And there probably are other ways to do it too.

Like, instead of snapping, you could draw the rectangle, and use the control bar to make it the right size (using W and H fields), and right position (using X and Y fields).
