I shold like to put a tjock text on a background with different colours. How can I suit the colour to the background, to get the complementary colours?  Just now I have only black-and-white,backround and I need a black-and-white text, with white letters on black background and black letters on the white background. It would be fine if this changing could happen even through the objects in the forground, so even the part of the letters could accomodate.

Hi.

It can be done with filtering.
Filter needs the background image as a filtering source and/or the image filter primitive.
Thus for practical reasons it is useful to apply the "invert colours" filter to a whole layer.
Did that exactly in the attached file.

Good luck/sok sikert!

Edit: thumbnail looks off since using mesh gradient in the svg and the custom filtering doesn't help the rendering either with the browser.

I don't understand what you're describing.  Could you show an example?

Is this something like what you mean (attached)?  If so, I think you could probably find a font like that.  I made that through a very labor intensive process of putting a rectangle behind each letter and switching the colors.  But there should be a font which has the backgrounds already applied.

But I have a feeling you're looking for something more than that?  Maybe something which automatically changes the colors for you?

Possibly a layer blend mode, or blend filter (which Lazur is already showing a filter)?
