this is my first post on here, so hello

I have tried using Inkscape for text, but found that the end result disappointed me as the text did not flow nicely IE instead of the text / font being filled in as it displayed it was a line / etched outer and then at the end of the sentence it then filled in.

Is there anyway of overcoming this

Probably because of translation,  I don't clearly understand what you're asking.  Can you show us a screenshot (image) of the problem?

(Also, in case we need to translate some words, which is your native language?)
