Hello!

I can`t rotate box with path effect "bend".
I need to create vertical box with rounded corners with transformation (how it is on the background, white object)
I created box with rounded corners and used path effect "bend". I couldn`t use it on vertical object(3)  for some reason, so i used it on horizontal (1). But when I try to rotate it I got weird shape object (2).

I would be very grateful for any advise :)

Welcome to the forum!

2 options I can think of.  Draw it so that you don't have to rotate it.  Or, after you draw it and bend it, do Path menu > Object to Path, and then rotate it.

Let us know how it goes  :)

Edit
There is an option, a checkbox about "Original path is vertical".  Sometimes that helps, but I'm a bit confused by it, so I can't say for sure how it's supposed to work.  But you can experiment with it.  Or someone else might know more about it than me.

Yes, I think these are bugs with the path effect. Would someone like to make a bug report for it if there isn't one yet? (the problem applies to other LPEs, too, I believe, and I agree it's pretty annoying...)
