How to convert a vector file into a SVG file

I have a bunch of Vector Logos that I need to convert into a SVG file. Some of them are just text logo (car logo) and some of them have a background (white) that I need to get rid of. I'll try to attach a couple of these vector files so you can see what I'm talking about.

Select the object, ungroup, delete the white rectangle. They are vector data already.

Yes, they are already SVG files, so that makes me wonder if there might be a typo, when you said you want to convert to an SVG file.  Maybe it's another format that you need? 

All the vector format options can be found in File menu > Save As.  Some of them may require you to install something extra, depending on your specific needs.
