Clipping mask ?

Hello there I'm a complete beginner with designer tools BTW

I'm trying to animate an SVG with SVGATOR I don't know if anybody uses it but it's an excelent and easy tool to animate SVGs

My problem is that I'm trying to do some sort of path animation to a logo with the SVGATOR, but it doesn't work unless I have a "stroke path" in the logo, wich don't happen with mine.

I asked for help directly to SVGATOR and they sent me a remade logo with the stroke path made(attached),

They said that they used clipping masks to do this with my logo so I've searched but the only clipping mask tutorials that I've found doesn't have anything to do with this

And I need to learn this to make with other logos this kind of animations!

I actually need your help

I'm with this problem for a couple of days now and my boss is starting to get pissed of.

Welcome to the forum!

First, there's no such thing as a "clipping mask".  There's "clipping" and there's "masking" but they are 2 different (but related) things.  Also, "stroke path" is a bit curious as well.  A path is a path and it can be stroked or not.  No idea what one has to do with the other.

My best guess (which is a huge guess) is that they are saying you need vector paths in the SVG file, before SVGATOR will work.  If you don't have vector paths, you'll have to convert the logo to vector.  Possibly that's what they did for you?

The file you attached won't open for me.  Inkscape doesn't say why, just that it can't open it.  Possibly the dot in front of the file name has something to do with it?

Also, if you could be more clear about what you're asking us?

Personally, I've never heard of SVGATOR.  So I have no idea what it wants or needs from Inkscape.

Actually, the term is commonly used in Illustrator and other vector editors. The attached file is a WBMP file (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_Application_Protocol_Bitmap_Format) not an SVG file. It's not going to be of any use for us.
