Hello, I often use elements from Freepik in my design - I'm a photographer and I need to work with bitmaps.
Usually with Inkscape it's easy to isolate the design elements I need and to export them as high res png; then I use Photoshop to finish the work. But I cannot retrieve seamless patterns from the designs I download. How do I isolate and export the pattern from Inkscape so that I can then use it in Photoshop?

This is a Freepik page where you are supposed to download 4 seamless patterns in one file: https://it.freepik.com/vettori-gratuito/raccolta-di-modelli-di-bambino-con-elementi-carini_2045163.htm

Can you point me toward a specific tutorial? Can you check if the downloaded AI contains the patterns for real? (It's attached)

Thank you for your time!

The eps file is empty when I open it with Inkscape 0.92.3. The ai file opens fine, and the patterns can be separated out easily. Converting the patterns to objects displaces the objects far outside the page area, but otherwise, this also seems to work fine, just takes some time, if the pattern objects weren't grouped originally (in case you need it).

Thank you, Moini, you solved it for me. I was seeing the object disappear and didn't realized it just moved. Thank you very much!
