Helloo,

I have a questio that might sound stupid but I dont know what to do recently I made my Logo with Inkscape now I have to erase a few spots to clear everything out.
But everytime I erase something a black border appears. How can i change that. I just need the flower inside my "construction".
Thanks in advance :)

Hi.

Convert strokes to paths before using the eraser (Ctrl+Alt+C) -as it works with closed paths only- if you want to follow that route.

Although probably you will realise further on it's not the best tool to use (eyeballing is the only choice with it at the sharp corners in your drawing).

Try the cut path operation in the path menu instead, which works on the path in their current form.

I find the eraser tool to be buggy, and generally discourage people from using it.  If you don't need precise drawings, and you can get it to work, then go ahead an use it.  But if you think in the future you might want more precision, you'll need to learn some different techniques for removing things.

is there another way to get rid of the circles i dont need or is there another way to make the "flower"?

Cheers

I'm not sure what you've been trying to do.  I can write out some steps for you, but I'm not sure how you've made that image.  Could you share an SVG file with your image?  Then we can tell you for sure how to do it. (instead of maybe this if it's that or maybe that if it's this).

Hi.

It shouldn't take more effort than this:

-if you want to colour each intersection part separately with no outlines, maybe it'd be a tad bit more complicated.
