Here's how you can make your voice heard by developers:

Oh, Apophysis! Is that project still actively supported and/or developed? I really, really enjoy fractals and tesselations, but had forgotten about them, since most of my favorite programs lost their only support some years ago. Apophysis was not my favorite, but it was the last one I heard of still being supported.
It would be Awesome to have a fractals tool in Inkscape! Preferably one which can be easily used by people who aren't mathematically inclined. I guess either Parametric Curves or Function Plotter extensions could make fractals, if you know the right equations or formulas. But I'm not positive about that.
Oh, and there's also the L-System extension, which is in fractals and tesselations family. But like those other 2, you need to know the right formulas, to really enjoy it.
Oh, and there are a couple of new LPEs - Mirror Symmetry and Rotate Copies can sort of approach making fractals. You should be able to find videos either on the website, or search jabiertxof's YT channel.
There is a chamfer LPE which....the last I heard is coming up in version 0.93. However, I think of chamfer as something different from fractals and tesselations. There will be a video of that too, in jabier's collection. Some are on the Inkscape website and some are only on YT.
Edit
Amaziograph sounds interesting, but apparently only available for iPad? Makes it hard to even show developers what you're asking. So if you could find something for PCs, it might help to get your ideas across.
