Ok, it looks like Windows Insider program, is more of a program in the sense of a sequence activities which can be followed, as opposed to actual software which performs a certain function. Like "get with the program" or "church program" or the program that you get when you go to a play, telling about the acts and intermissions, etc..
It's designed to let you download and try out the next new Windows version or new features, as far as I can tell, and asks for your feed back. And there's some kind of community where you can teach others how to use the new features (or learn how too, I guess).
As to why it doesn't like Inkscape, I couldn't say. I really have no idea. Honestly I'm still stuck on how you got the updates without having to log off.
When you installed Inkscape, did you get it from the Windows Store? It seems like I heard that you can't use the update feature with that version. Or the update feature is broken.....or something.
Does Inkscape seem to be working? If your vesion of Inkscape doesn't work, maybe it recognizes that and doesn't want the Insider program be broken by it????
If your version of Inkscape appears to be working, then all I could suggest is to do what the error message says. Either uninstall Inkscape, and reinstall after the updates; or skip the updates.
