Hi, Im completely new to inkscape (I was using adobe illustrator before and I'm quite experienced with it).
I want to edit that font :)

The goal is - to select the red shape inside of the letter, and delete it.
In illustrator - I could achieve it by multiple left clicking the shape (red shape in this case) and than just hit delete.
How can I achieve the same goal using inkscape? ( I want to edit every letter that way)

Welcome to the forum!

Assuming it's a vector image, my best guess is that everything is grouped (although it's hard to say for sure, without seeing the SVG file).  Try Object menu > Ungroup, or this button in the command bar  :ung: (or else there's a key shortcut which you can find in Help menu > Key and Mouse Reference).  When you click it, watch the status bar.  If you see the word "group" anywhere in the status bar, you'll need to keep clicking Ungroup until the status bar says "No groups to ungroup".

Note that there's a chance that blindly ungrouping everything in this manner will mess up something else in the file.  But again, without the SVG file, I can't be sure.  If you run into trouble, please share the SVG file with us.

Thank you for reply.
Unfortunately ungrouping gives no effect.

I am attaching the file here

I am really keen on inkscape, and a change from illustrator, but currently I cannot work it.

Hi.

Select the path, lower the opacity to 50% in the bottom left slider.
Break path apart (Shift+Ctrl+K), deselect objects.
Select and delete the previous subpaths, building up the edges of the unwanted areas.
Once finished, select all and combine paths together (Ctrl+K) and set opacity back to 100%.

Unfortunately there is no "one click" loop select nodes so that's the fastest workaround I can think of.

Actually loop selecting is possible some way: with the node tool (F2) hover over one of the unwanted subpath's nodes, and start scrolling with your mouse wheel. Once all nodes selected in the subpath, press delete.
So it's one click mouse select vs precise cursor positioning and scrolling alot one after another. I'm for the first solution.

As we often find with Inkscape, there is more than one way to do something.  So here's how I would do it.

1 -- Path menu > Break apart.  Yes, the whole thing will turn black at this point, but read on.
2 -- Add a stroke (Object menu > Fill and Stroke > Stroke Paint tab, and click the solid color button, which looks like this  :fc:)
3 -- Remove the fill (Object menu > Fill and Stroke > Fill tab, and click the big X button, which looks like this  :rem:)

Now, what you see are all the paths.  You'll have to recombine and re-fill some of the individual paths with black, which were black before.  And delete other paths, if I understand correctly what you want to do.  And if you want individual words to be a separate object, you'll need to either group them back together, or use Path menu > Combine.
