I cannot find any layer or other indications that the there is a black band as seen in Dash exists on the image. Please help

Welcome to the forum!

Let's gather some more info and details, ok?

The icon you made is the red square with a white dot in the middle, and with a red rectangle behind it, which is offset down and to the right.  On the red rectangle behind, there are one or 2 black areas.  Is that correct?

Oh wait -- I think I see it now.  It's the old fashioned shape of a movie camera.  It's red (with white dot).  And behind part of it is a black rectangle.  Right?

I have no idea what that could be.  Are you able to share the SVG file with us?  In a case like this, it's easier for us just to examine the file, rather than play "20 questions".  You can upload the SVG just like you did with the PNG.

Generally we say that support for displaying SVG images varies among all the different kinds of viewers, so sometimes certain elements might not be displayed, or displayed properly, with a particular viewer.  But in this case, where something is there that shouldn't be, viewer support isn't my first thought.

Looking at the SVG file is my best bet.  Or maybe someone else has heard of this?
