When I print long files it often randomly prints large blank spaces. Sometimes the blank occurs at the beginning of the print, sometimes in the middle, sometimes the end. I've created my images by tiling or also tried copy and paste, it still happens.

The file I'm trying to print is a linked PNG file and it occurs when it is embedded or link, it makes no difference. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Inkscape version 0.92
Operating system Windows 7 x64
Printer HP DesignJet T120

Thanks!

That sounds like a problem with the printer to me.  If the image looks ok in Inkscape, there's not much we can do.

I don't know, maybe someone here knows something about printers, and could help.  I'm not sure what to say.

Are you sending it to the printer directly from Inkscape?  If so, you could try saving the image as PDF, then open it in a PDF reader, and print from there.  Maybe that would work better?

Or I guess maybe if the lines are all very thin, the printer can't read them very well?
