Can't install on a Mac

Hey all! So I'm trying to use Inkscape but I'm falling down at the first hurdle... I'm trying to install version 0.92.2 on my mac book running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 with X Quartz v. 2.7.11, but I'm just getting the error message (or rather non-message) attached. I initially installed Inkscape before XQuartz which I thought might be causing issues but I uninstalled it and tried again and still nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

Moini, where did the instructions for installing the DMG go?  I thought there used to be a small page of instructions with the download, but I can't seem to find them now.  Hhmm, moved to faq?  ....not so much....
