Snapping issues

I've set snapping all

But when I create box you see that vertices are always outside the grid. How to make box fills and snaps perfectly to grid ?

As you can see, the handles of the square are snapped to the intersection of the grid lines.  So it seems to be snapped properly.

But apparently the square has both a fill and a stroke.  If you remove the stroke, there will be no overlap.  Do you need instructions to remove the stroke?

I thought we had a recent new feature, which allows the stroke to be aligned differently relative to the path (along the centerline, the inside edge or outside edge).  But I can't find it.  Maybe it never has been created yet?

By the way, I meant to also mention that there are a lot more snap controls in the main window, in case you didn't know.

Yes, please. How to remove the stroke ?

Object menu > Fill and Stroke > Stroke Paint tab
Click the big X button in the top-left area.  Looks like this 

Or you can do it without opening Fill and Stroke dialog.  In the bottom-left corner of the main window, where you see the Fill and the Stroke indicators, right-click on the stroke bar, then choose Remove Stroke.

Or, you can hold the Shift key, and click the tiny X button on the far left end of the palette.  (just above the fill and stroke indicators)  X by itself will remove the fill.  Shift-click will remove the stroke.
