Hi,
I'm new to Inkscape, it's been a great tool so far, but I'm a bit stuck on one task.
I'm trying to intersect a stroked path with an object I have converted to a path. This screenshot hopefully helps explain it:
I've added the dark background so it's easier to see the other components, it was previously transparent. The shape with the gradient is an object I've converted to a path. The white lines are paths with a stroke. I'd like to cut the white lines out of the shape so that I'm left with 4 shapes with a transparent area in between. When I try to use the intersect tool it removes everything below the line, not just the white stroke part.
Is there a way I can remove just the stroked part from the shape?
Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated, I've been scratching me head for a while!
Cheers
